Position Summary:
The Area Sales Manager is responsible for achieving monthly sales and collection targets within the assigned territory through effective coordination with the Regional Sales Head, appointment and management of dealers at district and taluka levels, and consistent development of dealer business. The role involves active field-level engagement to support retail sales, execution of product demonstrations and promotional activities, participation in exhibitions and roadshows, and close coordination with Head Office to ensure timely billing, dispatch, and availability of spares. The incumbent is also required to maintain strong professional relationships with Agriculture, Horticulture, and Agricultural Engineering Department officials to facilitate dealer allotments, ensure regular communication with dealers on order status and deliveries, prepare and submit sales and collection reports, and handle urgent business requirements as necessary to support overall regional growth.
